Najib to visit Sabah on July 26-28
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Sen Najib Tun Razak is scheduled to make a three-day official visit to Sabah on July 26-28. The objective of his visit is to tour and inspect the defence forces’ frontline bases in the east coast of Sabah, said a statement from the Defence Ministry yesterday. Najib, who is also the Defence Minister, and his entourage are expected to arrive at Tawau Airport from the TUDM Airport in Subang, Selangor in the morning of June 26, and then depart for the Sri Wangsa Army Camp in Semporna. Chief Minister Datuk Sen Musa Aman is expected to join Najib’s delegation for a visit to the military base at Dinawan Island, off Semporna on July 27. From Semporna, Najib will proceed fo the LIMA military station in Tawau from where he will fly back to Kuala Lumpur on July 28 in the afternoon.
